I loved this book. Initially, I was thinking “How much information is there actually?” But, I was pleasantly surprised with a rich history of the Holy Rosary.

Thomas a Kempis is rich in thought and language. So grateful this book is now in English.

Pope Leo XIII is amazing and this little volume on humility is exactly what we need in our era where too many have become too full of ourselves

The author reveals the ideas and expectations placed on ordinary people to conduct such atrocities as documented by the oppressors. The need to share these writings with others, although disheartening, is necessary to ensure those who succeed us prevent further actions similar to these.

A very good history of ancient civilization. I like how in each chapter it has a little vignette of a specific scene from history. It helps bring the various characters to life. Also, while it comes from a catholic perspective, it is very objective about the church.

This book was excellent. Sometimes we can forget what a revolutionary and subversive character Saint John the Baptist was. He was an example of extreme action and commitment to God’s will. This book helped me understand more nuance about the man.

Beautiful Stations read with faith. I wasn’t sure about his voice but it was very peaceful.
