After listening to this work I can see why it is a spiritual classic. I will listen to it many times.

Anyone interested in history, psychology, and understanding how genocides happen needs to listen to this book! I am glad that Dr. Peterson mentioned this book in his 2017 Maps of Meaning course lectures on YouTube. He cited it to show that people you wouldn’t normally think of as malignant people can do heinous things.

What an awesome book. Thank you Joseph Pearce. I haven’t read the LOTR since I was a teen but it is certainly time to open it again and experience the beauty.

High level overview, better options out there. The human element is missing. Feels like a textbook

It was a beautiful writing on the very difficult time in our Lord’s life! I loved it.

I enjoyed this book. Lots of references to scripture, but the recommendations are practical enough to not seem overly abstract.
