I only have one complaint about this book is the empress didn’t use the sanctifier. I understand her decision but still should have used it. Can’t wait for next Caleb Card book and with Arun, penn, and company. Really hoping Caleb and penn come together!!

I love the forgotten series but I was little worried reading the premise. I couldn’t have been happier listening to this book. Def worth the read/listen!!!

Great sequel! I really enjoyed this second book in the series. It stands well on its own but also maintains a strong connection to the first book, tying the storylines together and expanding the world being developed. Despite the tragedies, there’s a sense of hope, making everything—both good and bad—feel purposeful.
