A modern day contemporary realist Batman story. Gil, a vulnerable wealthy orphan, learns to connect to others from his goodness, surrender to goodness and use goodness against cruelty and unconsciousness then finally receive goodness back.

Lots of action. Interesting characters and the universe they inhabit. I’m fascinated by the ideas about FTL drives and various types of weapons.

Predictable plot progression, too-easy resolutions, and a wonderfully underwhelming narration make this the perfect read for the emotionally and intellectually developing sci-fi fan!

I just can’t say enough to adequately praise this story. It’s engaging, sophisticated, and exciting. Makes me want to listen to all of Chiles creations. Well done sir!

War never changes and this is not the first Army of the Potomac veteran account I have read that criticizes the way the war was run.

This series and Omega Force are my favorite book series. How these aren’t on Netflix or Apple is beyond me. I love that it overlaps the two. Close enough to be almost the same series, but enough different.

Always love listening / reading the dragon Lord series! It’s fantastic. Totally would recommend to friends.
