Pronunciation of “Peirce” and “Du Bois” (especially the latter) was somewhat distracting. Otherwise an amazing book and a fantastic reader.
This book was well-written and easy to follow. It seemed well-researched. I found the narration easy to listen to. I was disappointed that the author quickly brushed over most of the events of the Sioux uprising itself to dwell more on the retribution and other events that followed. A well researched, realistic telling of Van Gogh’s life. An obviously more truthful account than most of the stories fashioned throughout history. I also purchased the book, “Van Gogh The Complete Paintings” by Taschen to enhance the story told. The experience was well appreciated. 🌟

The good guys win, justice is served, believable storytelling (as long as you like science fiction) and not a struggle to listen to. I think it’s well worth listening to or reading.
