After “Redemption” the series needed a pick-me-up, and this did it. I couldn’t stop listening, the internal struggles of Jason confronting his own species was surprisingly dramatic and intense. I very much enjoyed it.

Too much too late. Disappointingly , the last six books of this series should be called COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY FOR 700SBD(series battle droids). I so enjoyed following Jacob as he becomes more confident in making decisions, even as the walls are coming down around him. The story doesn’t let you rest for a second and before you know it, you’re reaching for the next! As always, the narration was superb.

The narrator is good, but the story is weak. No real evidence for JFK. Lots of bravado about his protagonist which there is some evidence of but not all of what is said. As conspiracy books go this one is not very good. Recommend JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why it Matters.
