Based on my knowledge of that corrupt era and the political machines running our governments, I held a dim view of Chester Arthur. So, I took a flier on this book and came away enjoying this book and forming a newfound respect for Chester Arthur.
Amazing life of Van Gogh, but it’s all so negative. I’m on chapter 36 now & still there is no mention of one of his paintings being sold? Been waiting for awhile now (hours & hours) for Theo to announce to poor desperate Vincent that finally he has made a sale!Van Gogh’s maddening personal traits..
This book was far more informative than it sounds! I think the title sounds more like one of those teach you how to get rich schemes but it’s really far more practical than I thought.
I am greatfull for the knowledge shared here in this book. I like the way the author states his point then followed it ever broadening the foundation. he then weaves that throughout the following chapters to create a tapestry that is enlightening and encourages continues personal research. well done I say, from one who searches..
I have listened to the Omega Force series many times and each time I am drawn in by the drama and humor of the missions and crew. Even though this is sci-fi and futuristic the technologies in the stories are believable. 5 stars is not enough for the rating, absolutely one of the best series..
