Very Simple; Great Writing

It was a nice novel about the interior thoughts of a privileged, modern man. He’s a good guy with simple, interior struggles who stands up for the little guy. It was simple, but I found it very interesting and appealing. The reader has a consistent, good voice.

The narrator was awful!

This was a good overview of Napoleon. I knew very little about him and this was just the amount I was looking for as promised by the author. The wooden reading and bad French pronunciation was hard to get around, however.

This series just can’t lose! I mean at this point Josh could write about the crew throwing a football around the ship and I’d read it. Can’t wait for the next book!

Knowing only the few facts that were taught in junior high, I can’t say that I have anything to compare this book to. While I can imagine a better, more tightly organized bbok than this, I found that Greenberger filled in many of the blanks in my knowledge of both Chester Arthur and the times..
