Over all i liked the book, action was good, lots of slice of life. Good character development. The magic and skill were kinda weird. Very little was said on how they normally worked, For example, MC slotting/eating a rare skill cost him 2 mortium and 24 hours for the skill to be ready. An epic..
Beautifully read, wonderful performance of very personal material . Very real characterizations and ideas. Highly recommended by me
This book is a bit all over the place with explanations and confusing. so much so that the first quarter of the book I still had no idea what was going on. listen at your own confusion/risk
Skill eater is life. I cannot consume enough of it. My core yearns for more. I tell anyone who will listen. To grab a copy
all stories seem to follow the same line of the evil emperor building super weapons but the autor clearly understands nothing about what they are talking about. the original line from star wars is a dead horse and needs authors to stop beating it. unfortunately, I already purchased the whole series, so the last 4..
It’s not like 1% life steal or primal hunter. I almost couldn’t get through the first 10 chapters due to the narrator but listening at 1.45 speed helped a lot. Story is pretty good, I look forward to see how it all turns out.
this have been one of the best series that I have listened to in a while. it has great character development, an interesting story, and the flow of the book is very consistent
writing isn’t great but narrator makes it horrible to listen to. like a children’s story teller dropping foul language into a tale. move on from the women are better at everything angle. good women run good day society. bad men run bad guy society. women are tough and stronger. this series sucks.
Misfits that are best in class take on the bad guys. Lots of crew bonding but character building seems light. Probably an entertaining book for teenage readers but it does have some swearing, drinking and reference to ‘human’ trafficking.
