About manhood, how some wealthy behave, about what a “true woman” is in author’s eyes; concepts of love. I felt the puritanical concepts were more of late 18th century vs 1950’s It was an interesting story only a couple characters I could really relate to. It was an interesting book, have to think about it..
This installment of Miami Jones was unique from most of the others I’ve listened to. Unique in that it takes on a very sensitive subject. He does this with intelligence and an authenticity while staying true to his characters and the tone of most Miami Jones’ stories. Good work, A.J. Stewart. I look forward to..
So I was excited to read thos but I had trouble maintaining interest..Got lost a few times but kept trying.
Love the pull of mythology with comedy. Mother Nature remains one of my favorites. Hope to see her smacking someone else around soon. This book was a riot.
it’s an alright time travel survival story with shallow characters. it’s free and it’s short. Most of the story happens to be wilderness survival.
I like the idea of the story, OCD, a garden, and love, but it took me two tries to get through the book. The female narrator was really difficult for me to listen to! I wouldn’t listen again.
New to this particular sci-fi world but there was enough to draw me in. Personally I thought it was a great book.
