I would’ve preferred a different, female voice. It didn’t seem to fit the character. The story is intriguing enough that I’ll listen to book two and three.
Good story!

He seems to be a womanizer. But is he more? He had a rough childhood with little encouragement until the Marines and club….not to mention that other connection. It was quite a surprise meeting her ! it was quite a surprise to everyone when she showed him well you need to read to see exactly..
Great series! I have enjoyed every book so far. This one just seemed to not grab my attention like the rest… Guess I was expecting more…Audio performance was amazing as usual!
Very interesting and concise account of one of history’s most significant figures. Having a need for getting to the point as well as placing a subject in context to the current and past, this book appealed to me greatly. Not proud to say history can make my eyes glaze over in boredom. This book definitely did..
This listen was a little better than the first. It’s just the cheesy things that are said. “I can’t wait to feel your arms around me as we thunder down the road”. Really, a biker saying something like that. A may have to skip over some of the listen if he keeps talking like that.
I don’t know whose grandmother with the extra heavy New York accent they used for the woman’s part, but it was horrible. Made for a not so good listen. I forwarded past her part. Was ready for it to be over.
Hard choices all around. Assumptions were made, and people are who they are. These people are hard to love with all their machinations, but one does become invested when lines are drawn. Pick the one you wish to root for and see how they fare!
I have read several other novels based on this world, and I think I’ve even read some others in this particular series, but I had forgotten how hilarious this series about the dragon princes is. The dragon shifters came to Qurilixen from Earth centuries ago and have kept up with Earth culture from our transmissions..
Just another great story as always. There are a few comments about the story being the same etc etc but I see these as stories about friends on a journey instead of making each one as different as possible. I think it did show them coming to terms with them getting older or what’s next…
Oh, this story needs a second book! I meed to know what happens after the implementation of their proposal.
