This was a fun adventure with an Andy Weir / Neal Stephenson vibe. The story had less scientific detail than the Hail Mary Project or Seveneves but kept a nice pace with very little filler content. As with all good stories, the ending left me wanting a little more. Thank you Joshua for the journey.

Very slow beginning as it lays the groundwork for the stories, but stick with it, worth it in the end!!
This is the best first step and capstone for learning about the language involved in describing and analyzing movies. Perfect for a student about to take a film class. (Or someone who wants to take a film class but can’t! I’m sure this book covers more material than most lecturers can cover in a semester.)..

I enjoyed the interviews with the authors, some I’ve read and some I haven’t. I like knowing what makes them tick. I have communications with some of my authors, which I enjoy and am grateful. I reccomend listening to “The Storytellers”.

I got a third in and stopped – the characters don’t react in ways that make sense. They’re not upset by upsetting things, blase about disasters, and generally flat.
