Very exciting, very emotional stories. Highly recommended. As I listen to the book, I truly felt like I was there.

This is a fantastic book about living a Stoic way of life. Stoic philosophy is no one of my “religions”. I will come back to this book as a reference for all my life.

Book one and this one are the best so far. Didn’t care much for the others . This is worth listening to.

I love the series, and this is the second one from the viewpoint of a man, and also narrated by the man. Really enjoyed that.

I picked this book up after doing extensive reading on colonial America (Malone, Flexner, and a couple others). In my estimation, this book presented the answers to major holes in traditional American history. Presented very fairly and what appears to be accurate when taken in context of the surrounding histories mentioned earlier. A must read..
