Fairly typical storyline with a bunch of sex in it. Tieran’s voice didn’t fit Silk, but it wasn’t bad enough to stop listening. the age and cigarette-worn factors of her voice were not silky at all. However, it was ok.
I will definitely re-listen to this many times to make sure the principles become imbedded in my mind.
Blueshift is a standalone novel by J Dalzelle which I picked up because I was a huge fan of his other series. This book is nothing like his other ones, but I still found it entertaining. It almost had the feel of being a rip-off of the Planet of the Apes’ novels. A crew returning..
Enjoyed the stories. Continuity lacking at times, but the whole story flowed well enough. Having been a part of the cruiser fleet, it really started to annoy me with the constant references to the carrier as the “boat”. It’s a “ship”! Submarines are boats, not aircraft carriers. This was very entertaining. Spotty humor here and there made it seem more entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and look forward to more adventures with Omega Force and Captain Burke! 😎
