I you liked John D McDonald, you live this series! Good mystery set in Florida. Our hero is an ex baseball player who loves his lady and his friends. There are lots of fun along with mystery. As far as sex sciences don’t worry!
Even sci-fi needs to be reasonably accurate, but demon possession by an omniscient and malevolent AI? Even that’s over the top. I couldn’t finish the book. The story lines and writing in the first two books were pretty good but this one is terrible by comparison. Good riddance.
