You lost me. The story is getting too complicated with too many players. Start to lose track of who is who, or even why they are involved in this. No thanks.

if you need a bit of sci-fi escapism and you like a combination of star wars, Stormtroopers, and Indiana Jones, this is for you.
Some narrators are good but the one from the second book is painful to listen to. The story itself has some consensual (I think?) SA which totally turned me off so I didn’t make it very far in this series. Love the author but not this series.

I felt like I was being lectured… in a bad way. I don’t know if it was the reader or writing. Maybe both ? I liked learning about Van Gogh but I had to force myself to keep going. The reader sounded like ai almost. Sorry reader dude, but ya made it difficult for me…

awesome series, gave me alot of flashbacks from the late 80’s early 90’s, but you wrote yourself out of another book to add to the series, unless you continue with his step son.
I enjoyed how three very different characters were able to come together to form a very competent team
