This was a very entertaining book. S.E. Smith is one of my favorite author’s . She truly has the gift of story telling. David Brenin is one of the best narrators in the book reading business. He makes listening to Ms. Smith books alive. A must read on book.
I am at chapter 14 and very tempted to just stop listening. The leader, ex-military, is naive, dumb and has no leadership abilities. Frustrating beyond belief. And I am not a big military person to begin with. Yet no way could this character be this big of an idiot.
good read….. I do not normally write these. but said headliner was optional….. but it said I could not write a review without a headliner! the my review had to be 15 words or more….. reminds me why I do not write these and will not fall in to this trap again… very enjoyable book..
The narrator was very calming and the material is very calming as well. I highly recommend this to all
Each of the four books in this series have been Very well read, full of intense drama, and suspense but have ended with fairy tale nonsense .
This book was really bad. The author went on and on and on for 80% of the book talking about the tortured, abused and sad life of the woman. It was freaking overkill. Reading this book was freaking depressing. If the author had dedicated only a 1/3 of the book to the woman’s past it would..
Foul language ruins the story..The story deals with mental illnesses and does a good job of describing how OCD in particular, can affect a person’s life.
