It was an OK read. I wasn’t really a fan of the female protagonist that much throughout the story.

Listening to the whole trilogy. Fantastic writing & narration. Ward’s experience & insight bring an exceptional realism to day-to-day life in the Navy & fighter squadron. I eagerly anticipate the next book.

I thought this was a good story but was put off by the swearing. At one point I almost quit the book because it was too much and definitely could not listen to it with children present. It offends me personally and stops me from listening usually at the first offensive word. I always wonder..

Not much has changed when it comes to “politics” in carrier aviation. I witnessed much of the same during my tour as squadron AIO during our Vietnam deployment. Great writing Ward-you captured all the aspects of carrier aviation and life on and off the boat.

Loved it ,funny silly, and great . Not recommended for children to hear. But still freaking funny I laughed 😅 so hardthat almost pee’d myself.

Sexual violence and women as objects make this a pretty miserable read. Fetishism of sexual assault is not cool.

I don’t get why I am so addicted to this and Omega force series. It’s really one of favorite series!

Grew up with the features of this book as part of my tribe. Generations invested in this subject matter. The book was great. The audible was an intolerable robot.

Excellent documentation of remarkable history! Full of irony and inside connection with the characters and the building.
