If your personal or family standards are opposed to pornography, avoid this book, even if it is on sale. The story line was going along great only to be interrupted by a totally unnecessary romp through the gutter of an excessively explicit sexual encounter. Once again, I plead with Audible to institute a rating system..
As always, I enormously enjoyed this installment of Omega Force. I’ve already secured the next book and will be starting on it shortly. I enjoy the storylines and the great narration.
Couldn’t finish the audiobook nor return it. Narrator is just not right for this reading. Plus the story is not gritty enough. The main character having been ex-military just isn’t believable in his role. Says too many dumb things and doesn’t react like an ex-marine. Maybe the story gets better, guess I’ll never find out…
Really great story some parts were a little slow but just a great listen and i Really hope there’s more to come and just can’t wait for the next one

A little better than the last book, but Jason Burke has devolved into the kinda guy everyone wants to asskick. Not a lot of leadership qualities and a real merc crew wouldn’t take the disrespect he dishes out. Personal dynamics are not very realistic.
If you read Meister Eckhart without knowing his background, you would likely guess he were an Eastern mystic. These teachings are likewise timeless, as they are simple and personal. That they labeled him a heretic in the church for his message is intriguing on its own, and the way these writings are structured are perfect..
