The story was exciting, but not so dramatic or fantastic that it seemed too far fetched from what seems real. The characters are well written and the narrator does an amazing job of bringing them to life. Glad to finally see this in audiobook form.

I’m very picky with storyline but this series is awesome. has sex and action. narrators are awesome! the best I’ve ever listened too.

Anyone looking for an accurate account of this chapter in Minnesota, US and Dakota history, this is a must read/listen!

The author addresses what many avoid when defending either the Jews or Palestinians and their right to live peaceably. This is the way investigative journalism should be. It was good. I did find myself wishing things happened a bit more quickly.. Kind of wished it had gotten a bit more detailed on certain things, and got us a bit more attached to some of the characters. It was an above average book, and I plan to continue reading the series.

I saw another review noting a disappointment in the narrator. I don’t share that view, I thought it was excellent. I loved the storyline, it’s my first time experiencing this book, and I’m happy with it. Can’t wait for book 2. Thanks Ward. I’ve been wanting an audiobook for a long time. Two thumbs up.

This narrator has very little range, everything mouthed in an excited manner – and monotonous.
