good story line but little more sex than I prefer. I just rushed through those parts
good storyline

This book is a fascinating ramble through the history of a word and a phenomenon that defines much of our modern existence.
I found the narrators unbearable at times. The story was dated and sappy towards the end. it ended up being a canned romance- not very imaginative.
This is the first in the ‘more than human’ series and it was so good. I did not want to put it down. I can’t wait till the next one is out. I wish I had known there would be loose ends and that the next books will probably be all interconnected. I do like..
The story is lame and obviously written by someone who knows nothing about the Marine Corps. Don’t waste your money or time on this book. 🤮
This is a decently written and performed Sci-Fi yarn, bray rettro in it’s approach — e.g., alien abduction, Star Wars type conflict between a subjugating empire and populist insurrection. Time travers, advanced alien tech, and communication and interaction among a very broad spectrum of alien species are all incorporated within the naive perspective of 60s..
The story is very one dimensional with no character development. I didn’t feel any connection to the protagonist and the story just felt flat. I couldn’t continue listening so I cut my losses and stopped listening at about 20% of the book.
shouldve found a narrator that isn’t as monotone as my highschool math teacher, it would’ve heightened the ratings
