I thought this futuristic book was pretty well thought out and easy to follow. Battled to put it down. A good read.
Very Entertaining and easy listening

I thought this futuristic book was pretty well thought out and easy to follow. Battled to put it down. A good read.
The story is told through multiple backgrounds and lenses of those who lived through the experience. As the author is telling the story of the Minnesota conflict – the reader continues to be updated with other tasks pulling on President Lincoln at the time. While being told to give up their ways and to assimilate..
At the end of the book I realized that Andres didn’t write another book and I’d be without I guess I’ll listen to it again
Good story, however the biological evolution was accelerated too far too fast to be believable. But the story was good.
I went into this completely blind. I’m very happy to say that the book was great. The reader did very well with the different character voices. The book has decent length, but it does feel a little short… maybe that’s just me.
Struggled to finish this one. I was rolling my eyes with every tangent we took, halting the story. I just wanted to get to the main plot. Not spending chapters explaining mental illness. If I wanted to read the history of psychology I would have read that book instead. This is a female serial killer..
Well another installment listened to and done. The characters are well defined. The plot usually has multiple threads that each have twists and turns. Funny after all these ‘books’ it still is a fun listen. Hope the author doesn’t get tired of writing these…
A tail of all to real political stupidity and the consequences that have to be cleaned up and paid for by the military.
