It had too many tropes from other stories And the lead Character in the story is just too good and easily to accept what’s going on in his life I might go back to it might get the 2nd book.

Great listen but you have to pay attention. There are a lot of players, most trying to end humanity or enslave it. why do they hate humans so much? While Washington had his human faults, this book makes him into a horrible person. Author doesn’t miss an opportunity to remind you he had slaves. An anti-American book. I won’t finish it.
I have a library of 4,374 books. I’ve listened to hundreds of truly great books, but for whatever reasons, I’ve never provided a review. This is a Great Book. I recommend it as one of my best. I envy you, in that you still have this to purchase, and lean and enjoy.Don’t pass this one..

Free world needs to learn about Chinas manipulation of other countries including our own.
First the bad: The science isn’t really there. The lightning and black hole weapons just wouldn’t work and the explanation is that it is stolen alien tech that was installed but not understood. The one thing that really got me was in the first book one alien vessel almost destroys the fleet on its own…

As the title says this just feels like a cheap rewrite of bobiverse some examples:there are human minds copied into cores implanted into ships to pilot them.they have vr environment pretty much a carbon type copy of bobiverse with the same flare and type. the character are way to two dimensional trying to differentiate them..
