Despite the interesting subject matter, the narration is so poor, I could not finish the book. Heck, I couldn’t make it halfway through. Incredibly rigid, halting, oddly monotone performance. It truly sounds like a computer is reading the book. I’ll opt for a printed version instead.

Henriettas story is fascinating and the book was incredibly thorough, painting a deep and clear image of her journey. I’m sure it was not easy finding all the information and surely there is so much we do not know of her life, but the book was incredible.
