I wanted to love it, it is my kind of story but it just couldn’t keep me interested. I don’t think the characters shared much personality with us or they are just boring people.
Love the characters, loved the story, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a mating ceremony. What gives?
note to the writer: find another phrase or two for “said in a husky voice”. Got a little repetitive.
It’s fairly apparent that, while he is a good story writer, Dalzelle has very little in the way of skill when it comes to planning a series. Frequent recycling of plot elements and devices really breaks up the feeling of an advancing storyline.
Wow i didn’t think i was going to enjoy the story as much as i did, 100% recommend this i just can’t wait for book 2 but i do feel like there should have been a chapter or 2 of Ben during his stay at the farm especially since it was kinda like a lawless..
I have not been let down by this author with any of the books I’ve read/listened. He has another winner with this series and I am excited to start “Devastator”, book #2.
Love this book it gives great insight on coming from nothing to make it happen time after time following principles to keep you accountable
Engaging story telling. I anticipated several possible endings but not the one that arrived. It seems the author set things up for a sequel.
