This is an informative book about China that takes a pro-China perspective. A good primer on the Chinese economy that doesn’t go into the weeds as much as I would have liked

The only reason I gave it 4 stars for story was the ending was a little bit slower than I would have liked. However, it was a fantastic read and I would love to listen to mini stories following the events of this book.

This was again an excellent read. Can’t wait for the next book. The author struck gold with this character.

The narrator’ consistent failure to pause between sections made for awkward bumpy transititions. Good story overall though.

Sorry to dissent. I am unfamiliar with the characters and storyline and didn’t enjoy. The narrator’s tone is pleasant but his singsong rhythm was often inappropriate to the importance of content. I refuse to be entertained by a low standard so many now adopt to appease the ever declining morals, civility, and dignity of people who will allow themselves to be entertained by vulgar, vial, & demeaning language that demish humanity.

Great story, very believable and hard to stop listening! I’d love to meet Emily Torrance. Sounds like a wonderful person and a wonderful artist! I feel like I know her.

Great lessons on life and business. The narrator was personable and refreshing to listen to. I would recommend this for anyone struggling in life or needs business insights.

I thought this story was great from the couple of pages. The narrators voice and story line are a perfect match. That made the book something special. I can’t wait to for the next book. And will definitely check out other books by this author.
