I was tired of hearing “… said in a husky voice” by the end of the 3rd chapter. Unnecessary repetition is unnecessary.

New concept, albeit somewhat familiar to another story that I listened to! My main irritation is that for a marine, the main character does a lot of whining, which has become annoying! The guy needs to “man up”! ?

Really an excellent story, engaging characters, and very good narration. A bit short for my taste. Book 1 and 2 could have been combined to make 1 book.
