Cara was soooooo annoying!!!!

Review from Capturing Cara →

Okay I’ll admit, I only made it less then 2 hours into the story and I just couldn’t take Cara’s character anymore. She constantly acts like a hyperactive child who takes apart/disassembles anything she wants without asking first, simply to entertain her curiosity and her ADHD problem. She claims she’d doing this to see how..

A nice military story

Review from Marine →

I took a chance and I like the story line so far. The author writes well and the narrator does a solid job. There’s enough tonal inflection and variety in his voice that you will not get put to sleep. Plus the story as written as a nice rhythm of action and plot.

Review from Soldiers of Fortune →

This book took a decidedly interesting turn! I must admit I did not see it coming. Imagine if you will the idea of the A-Team of the television fame, but told as an adventure with no comedic overtones. That’s really what you get, but the author tells it well. I enjoyed it, but this and..

Fast-paced and entertaining

Review from Omega Rising →

I enjoyed the book. It seemed a little short, although I would not say that the narrative was rushed. There is a slight Darth of sense data, but it’s really not bad. Overall this is truly a promising beginning to an interesting series. I’ve already glanced ahead and there are better than a half a..

Powerful condemnation of Manifest Destiny

Review from 38 Nooses →

The book focuses on this one particular atrocity in the history of the American wars with Indian tribes. But the overarching theme is the systemic racism and injustice inherent in that most American of legends, Manifest Destiny. Whether it had the name or not, the phrase being coined in 1845, it is at its core..

Terrible narrator!

Review from Challenging Saber →

Story is good so far, but listening to this narrator to female voices is enough to make me stop listening. Really wish this had dual narration. I could deal with him if it was just the male (even though he sounds elderly) but with his voice for females it’s just awful!
