Well I’ve now worked out why books should be read in order ?. I am loving, absolutely loving this series. It has been a binge fest on the first four books. Now I’m onto Destin, then Edge. What am I gonna do then? God I hope there are more stories in this series to come.

I really wish I would’ve skipped the first book in the series (abducting Abby) and started with this book.Cara is feisty, super smart/creative and doesn’t take shit from anyone. Lots of playful, consensual and equal sex… unlike in abducting Abby where Abby was a floor mat.

I love the series. I hoped that this with the answer to the secret of what the Phoenix is would have been a little bigger, a little more grand, but it was kinda anti climatic. that being said, still a good story, great performance and I look forward to more

Jumped book two to find out Daggers story, again I love the passion, the sadness, but also the hope the author weaves through her stories. Will go back to book two after I finish Sabers story.
