Not a fan of the cliffhanger.

The first book ended in a cliffhanger and now the second one but it’s still on the same characters story. I find it extremely frustrating to read books this way. I like the storyline and would like to know how it ends but does that really take three books. Maybe it’s just her writing style…

very good story, only annoyance is where author relayed a scene in heroine’s point of view and then did same scene, conversation, etc. in hero’s point of view. totally unnecessary. all author needed was to switch viewpoint in same scene.

All in all, an excellent read.

While the book falters from time to time with not quite enough science-science and a bit too much science-magic for my tastes, overall it’s a refreshing variation on military sci-fi novels, and does a good job dealing with sentient AI overall.
