I loved both the first and second book in this series. the stories are full of romance, action and generally a great story.the narrator is fantastic and is one of the few male narrators who doesn’t make the female characters sound all whiney and high pitched

I’m going to be one of those people who write the line “I don’t know how this book got positive reviews”. I don’t like the whole “I own you” type of book. People are not property and I don’t care if their is a soul mate situation, don’t go there. Let’s touch on the point..
Hilarious

loved this book, and the narration was fantastic, cant wait to either read or listen to the next book in the series. Enjoy a book that can give a great story and at the same time lead you into the next and here’s hoping that each book going forward keeps up the past characters story..
Awesome

Not a fan of the cliffhanger.

The first book ended in a cliffhanger and now the second one but it’s still on the same characters story. I find it extremely frustrating to read books this way. I like the storyline and would like to know how it ends but does that really take three books. Maybe it’s just her writing style…
great story

All in all, an excellent read.

While the book falters from time to time with not quite enough science-science and a bit too much science-magic for my tastes, overall it’s a refreshing variation on military sci-fi novels, and does a good job dealing with sentient AI overall. Probably my one big gripe is the author pinning some of the philosophical discussions..
