I kind of enjoyed the story, but the father and son main character were insufferable and I stopped listening.

Pretty standard premise pretty standard problems but good description of people such that it is easy to care about what happens to them.

I have read all of this series up ti this point. Loved everyone. The growth of Jacob has been wonderful to see.

The Relic is an entertaining novel and is a good choice when you want a light and simple read, say over a weekend beach trip.
