The story is ok. I’m not sure if it’s the narrator or the writing but the performance gives a young adult fiction vibe. Calling it “sunken spaceship” is also a little weird. It was “sunken” for about 4 minutes.

this was definitely the best of the first three books in this series. the reader is superb and the story is intriguing and at the same time exciting. looking forward to listening to book four

Reads like a children’s book. It isn’t I hope. Corny phrases and plot. I expected something more . . adult.
Dina, Rhett, Fabien and others journey through rifts (‘seams’) in the fabric of space in a race with the Hand of the Sun for a set of five objects that may lead to a return to normalcy for all of the various ‘Earths’. Once again the creatures and characters are quite colorful and diverse.

Heroes are mostly believable if somewhat bulletproof. Science was mostly unbelievable. Story incorporates “myths” and conspiracy theories to weave entertaining tale. Excited to see/hear where J James takes us in the next 3 novels of this series.
