I wanted to love this book. I couldn’t even make myself like it. The concept was interesting but if felt like a teenage boy wrote it. There was no depth to the characters, no real plot above alien abducts girl and “fucks” her over and over until she too becomes a dragon. Such a waste..

Everything about this book is disgusting. He rapes her several times, but because she is horny and/or orgasms, she decides it is okay. This book takes lack of consent to a whole new level.

I love S.E. Smith. I’ve read/listened to the stories over and over again. S.E. Smith is my go to author. But this series did not do it for me. I couldn’t finish. It didn’t pull me in as usual. I tried. I have both print and audiobook and couldn’t finish either.

Another great book, I feel that there was a bit to much overlay from past books, but loved bringing in characters from other series’. The ending had a twist I was not expecting.
This story lost me as soon as (minor spoiler)…it was clear there had been a major evolutionary change in just 800 years. Come on!
