Held my interest through the entire book 5 stars will look for other books by this author, and I also like the voice narration very good voice, not like them crappy virtual voices I decided I’m not buying any more books with virtual voice. They suck.
This was advertised as a “hard” sci-fi. It is hard in the sense that it involves machinery and rockets and exploring an asteroid, but the story itself is BORING! Very boring. I finally asked myself why I was wasting my time listening to it. If I could return it, I would.

This couldn’t possibly have been written by Anthony Malchiorri. The story is drowning in malapropisms and inconsistencies, AI writing at it’s worst.
The Narrator had trouble with the characters, sometimes switching voices which made it a little confusing at times. The MC’s were annoying and a bit whiney. The author pulled a cheap trick of ending the story in the middle of a dramatic scene, most likely to be continued in book two.
The series started good but by the time this book came along the story line focused on his sexual relationships with his wife, multiple women and the psychic orgasms their toddler daughters experienced when he had sex with their mothers
Loved the storyline, lots of action. Looks like it may be switching to a contagion hunting adventure. But it has been great so far plan on getting more as available.
This was more of a drudge to finish than the first one. The characters were shallow and the story was simply a romp through simple problems after problems with mundane solutions. I won’t purchase any more in the series.
I liked it. It gave me a lot more information about Harrod and his family. However, take some of his facts/sources with a grain of salt.
