I loved it all. I’m a fan of Dalzelles writing. He writes knowing how it is to have been in the military.
This story was not what I expected when I decided to read it. I could not help but think about how humans act about other species and have little appreciation for them. I love Ty and Ella’s dedication to each other and determination to change the future.

A good detailed discussion of the daily events preceding days before the battle of Gettysburg, not covered by any books I have read. It gives a very good view of how and why the armies ended in up Gettysburg.
While this one starts with a bit more character development, it’s boring. I listen to hundreds o d books a year and rarely don’t finish them, I can’t listen to this one.
