Love the story. Good characters and voice talent pulls you in. Love the boy and dog angle.
Good sciFi

I could not stop listening to this book. Always hoped we got a look into Jacob’s life and perhaps find out what missions color his version of the world.
Arthur’s story is uniquely inspiring, and this was a worthwhile telling which more people should know about.
The series just keeps getting better. This is a great listen the whole way through and left me wishing the next one was available.
The story drags on with way too much filler and every confrontation is over the top with the unnecessary certain death of the main character only to be saved the last second in every fight. I like the premise of the story but damn, lets not have every situation be unwinnable except for a miracle…
I guess I am getting burned out on space dramas. Fantasy about things only imagined, not reality or possibly so
I liked the story. It was unique for most of the sci-fi that I have read and I am anxious to see how this progresses.

Funnily the Evangelina story and it’s presence in American Literature. I remember studying the poem and the work of Hawthorne and Longfellow but not as a commentary on an unknown phase of our history or the deep importance of the work. Listening to this pulls together my life in Ontario, the Gaspé, and the US..
The format is fine, the narration is great, it’s just the plot that sucks. Without giving any spoilers, I’ll pretend I’m Ryan and ask: “So why’d they make that decision?”, with the answer being, “So the plot could happen.”, is a story not worth listening to… for me. It’s just an opinion
