This is a dark, gritty mafia romance. This book pulled me in from the very start and I devoured it in a couple of days. I absolutely loved the narration.

No issue with the performance. The story is just plain nonsense. No issues against submissive FMC, but the story progression, plots and “suspense” are unrealistic, predictable, stupid and so cringe! The hookup scenes are boring, not hot, not descriptive… I’ve tried to finish it because I can’t get my credit back but eventually gave up!
Audiobook narrated by Amanda Stribling and Neill Thorne. I really enjoyed this one. The “insta-love” between Josh and Tori was fun and done very well. I adored that she was a tourist and he was the bartender! The drama with her best friend’s wedding was to be expected, but Josh and Tori were great together..
