This is a dark, gritty mafia romance. This book pulled me in from the very start and I devoured it in a couple of days. I absolutely loved the narration.
Things I love: finding new authors to fan girl over! This book is written by 2 authors new to me and since I listened to the audiobook, it’s also narrated by 3 very talented voice actors who I don’t get to listen to very often. Hold on to your seats people, because it’s a cliffhanger,..
No issue with the performance. The story is just plain nonsense. No issues against submissive FMC, but the story progression, plots and “suspense” are unrealistic, predictable, stupid and so cringe! The hookup scenes are boring, not hot, not descriptive… I’ve tried to finish it because I can’t get my credit back but eventually gave up!
Audiobook narrated by Amanda Stribling and Neill Thorne. I really enjoyed this one. The “insta-love” between Josh and Tori was fun and done very well. I adored that she was a tourist and he was the bartender! The drama with her best friend’s wedding was to be expected, but Josh and Tori were great together..
Other than the “I’m not going to tell you about something I think about you even though it’s not true” bull, this was a pretty interesting read. I was also really enjoyed the full glimpse into the life of Blue. Not just her life in school like you get with most of these. I mean..
I was not sure that I was going to be interested in this book when I first started reading this. There were so many things that really made me step out of my comfort zone. It made me uncomfortable. Especially the predictions I had about the book. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that..
I am struggling a little to write this review if I am being honest. I am a HUGE fan of dark romance stories. BDSM isn’t really my jam, but I am not opposed per se, and I have a very “to each their own philosophy”. Having said all of that, the blurb for To Crave..
I literally cannot say enough good things about this book. Every single chance I got was spent listening, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the writing, the storyline, all of it. This is already one of those books that has me wanting more. That being said, I think adding to it wouldn’t make sense…I’m..
I’ll start this by saying that my review of this book is my personal opinion. I will not tell others not to read it or to read it. I will let them draw their own conclusions. I will say that there are some trigger warnings of abuse and abduction. This just really wasn’t my thing…
Overall good story with a HEA. Both narrators killed it and added to the story. Ends on a cliffhanger that’s not really a cliff hanger… but is lol if you’re wondering what I mean give the book a listen and you’ll understand!
