I didn’t think I would like it at first, but these characters grow on you! It sounds more like a radio show than an audiobook, and that’s what makes it such unexpected fun!
Very fun change of pace

I feel like I wasted a lot of time on this story. 3 books that had moments, but mostly I just wanted to finish so I could listen to something better. Then an ending that made me wish I hadn’t finished. The narrator was acceptable.
I found the MC and the “humor” throughout this book to be dumb and annoying. I would not have finished the story but I unfortunately paid for it, so I was determined not to waste my money and proceed to listen to it on X2 speed to work through it quickly. I can’t think of..

Somehow the yeti who has nowhere near the same stats using powers that the book admits is outdated, less efficient, and supposedly takes a toll on the soul (even though everyone who uses the power is never really negatively affected by using..
25 hours of power ups just to get to a fight that means nothing. the characters just get endlessly more powerful but somehow struggle against every opponent no matter how apparently weak they were 2 chapters ago. it feels like DragonBall Z. mc gets the biggest power up BUT WAIT by random happenstance and bulls**t..

This book was okay, sort of started off strong then gets a bit side tracked then meanders through to a whole story. Just a tougher book to stick with for me
I’ve never listened to anything like this. The story is great. I love this and will be continuing the series.
The characters are constantly evolving, while staying true to their core beliefs, and it’s awesome to hear.
oblivion is the end of all things it’s, but somehow an insect swarm is immune? if thats true then one of two things is the problem I been steadily having with this series, 1 oblivion is not the end of all things and the whole premise of this book of essence, paths, dao, classes do..
