I left Sanderson because he just HAS to kill a beloved character at the end.. eff you tooGreat series if you throw it away before the last chapter.
I absolutely loved the storytelling. Very funny and unpredictable. However, it all goes downhill with book 3, would have purchased the next 2 but feels like the story was completely wasted in 3.
Zak is still an annoying insufferable character and I just skip his chapters now. kale is pretty much the same characte, author – “kale is totally unprepared and survives being killed by overwhelming force” this arbitrary plot armor for the most annoying characters this late in the series is why most shows and sagas lose..
each book on this series continues to be excellent. the jokes don’t get old and I love the characters
I REALLY enjoyed this book. Many of the storylines set up in the earlier books had payoffs/were expanded upon satisfactorily in this one. I can only say that I’m greatly looking forward to seeing what comes next. Also as others have noted there is an issue with the end of chapter 26, but I do..
Bro spent 20 hours explaining to me how complex and how in depth the characters are think and and changing and evolving while the yeti literally steals redacted* and takes her apart to become more powerful the finally they find him and erase his progress but he’s still too strong?! Ok sure the characters start..
These books tell a good story but the book would be about half as long if the character sheet portion didn’t add hours to the book
The book just stops with no real conclusion. there could be a hundred different positive endings, but the author just stops. Frustrating!
Not a bad story but too slapstick for my taste. More joke than story so if you are into that… you may really enjoy this. I was hoping for different but donct get me wrong. I enjoyed it enough. Just not my cup of tea.
Once again this book delivered and I really can’t express enough how great this narrator does on expressing the emotion and feelings of each character. I am so invested in the characters that this book took me for a ride. I felt so many emotions, anxiety being the biggest one. On to my next stressful..
