I can’t vouch for the rest of the series, but this author understood the assignment. they Nailed the technical and satisfying level up process of Lit RPGs but didn’t lose out on the complex thoughts and motivations, and cohesive world building that so many Lit RPGs lack or don’t invest in. I am all in.
