Zach went from my least favorite character to my favorite character. I am excited for the next book.
I don’t know how I hadn’t come across this one before now. Truly an amazing twist of combining two progression fantasy genre systems. Only thing that occasionally frustrated me was the choices of pacing made between the point of views for the initial two characters introduced and the timing of flashbacks. No real critiques otherwise…
At first I was on Ryun’s side butttttttt… lol. It really just depends on your morals. Zak is kinda of annoying tho. I think it would have been better if the authoug made this 2 books. The first one the past, the entire thing. And the second what happened after the world ended. But I..
The Runesmith by Ivan Kal continued the story of Ryun and Zach. But the story’s main focus was Ra’azel. Focus it did. Power ups. Deaths. Fights. Many changes occurred. To list would be spoiling. Book 6 was good. Longer than expected in some areas. But enjoyable. DRmz 1-14-25
this book series was so good im sad It ended I loved spot and the others I hope to hear more from this series
MC knows everything about everything. Abilities do all the things when they shouldn’t. Writing about guns in detail but getting the important details very wrong. Ranking abilities is wildly inconsistent in reasoning. Narration is bland and monotone; guessing game to when the MC is having an inner monologue or actually speaking to others.
The Narration was pretty good, but felt like I would have enjoyed this book more in high school. I made it about 7 hours in and just find the characters…disappointing.
And so it comes to it’s conclusion. Love this book series. Sad to say goodbye, but the ending was very satisfactory.
