The game described in this book would be dead on arrival. No one would want to play a game that is acting to make everything difficult to do, even menial tasks.
the book is interesting and winding. having fun. 30 minute character sheets is WILD. There are less than precious books though, so we’re making steady progress towards 1hr+ ones in future books.

Lozito crafts a thrilling story or maybe space opera around the question of human/AI integration. This is a prescient cultural issue for our immediate future and Lozito provides an interesting and entertaining vision. The characters are rich with depth and nuance. I was unfamiliar with Phil Thron’s narration, but I’m fast becoming a fan!
