Four books in and this is the first lit RPG series I’ve read with actual video games as video game that’s worth the read. Amazing storytelling. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is there are a handful of contextual translations that don’t quite flow in English. Still, amazing work.
Solid story, a solid narrator, actual character development and growth. The main character does not rely on plot armor to stay alive. Book one starts off a little slow but book two picks up the pace. I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I liked the characters, they are very believable. Portland is well portrayed also. I live in Portland and there are hoards of homeless, or unhomed. I don’t want to give anything away however there are some parts that are breathtaking. I highly recommend this book. my audible library is over 1000 books and this gem..

Love everything by Jeneva Rose. Pretty entertaining story. Should be made into a play! Fun listen.
Literally couldn’t put the book down, I binged this entire book in a day. Amazing story, love the detail put into the necromancy aspects, love the morale struggle, love the bits of humor, just an amazing story, looking forward to book 3.

Really enjoy this series. The naration is very good. I love the slow progression of the MC, it seems like so many books are over powered so fast. This series is a nice slow burn. Plenty of action, friendships and a very detailed magic system. Highly reccomend!
Fantastic all the way through. Sure, I have some small complaints, but too minor to mention. If your favorite genre is apocalyptic fiction, you’re gonna love this one.
