The story is fun and entertaining, I stayed engaged for all 50+ hours. Every book or two Null-Spot goes off on some long introspective rants that turn into some snooze-fests, but the rest more than makes up for it. My only real complaint is mentioned in other reviews. Hearing the narrator absolutely butcher military acronyms..
Fabulous story with many avenues that continue moving the story forward as well as filling in the back story. . And Phil Thron is a master!!

This was great. The short stories and the novella really fun! I would read this one before dads vs zombies it just makes more sense. Still grate read Berry humorous. Made me laugh the entire time. It was so good I listened to it in one go. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall the book was awesome, the only downside was how long the stat readouts were. I’m all for reading out their stats, but when it becomes 15 minutes of nothing but stat descriptions in the middle of a characters segment, it takes the fun out of it.

Warning: this book has multiple PoV’s and as the series progresses the number of new and side characters will grow. Additionally there are several side stories and jumps between the past and the present. There is also unconventional relationships, rape, and torture. I don’t like books with multiple Povs and skipped every chapter that did..

Ivan Kal is the most complete writer. he does good action, story, world, characters. and the little details. like when he made counters to powerful abilities. or how he doesn’t write females in a way that “they just have emotions and are hysterical”. he..
