I like the series and will continue reading but this book is over 30 hours but it seems 20 of the hours are a review of character sheets. It’s way too much and it causes me to lose interest in a great store.

Another good book in the series. This one keeps me coming back for more, can’t wait to start the next one

The when you hear stats just move to the next chapter. You can skip all the “past” chapter and all the side stories.

I like it. I got this book because I’ve had “Abduction” from a used bookstore for decades so I was interested in a book about John Mac the author. This was mostly middle of the road but the ending is strong.

After following this group from the beginning, you come to care for the characters in this world. Great writing that made me invested in the outcome.

I enjoy these kinds of books and this story in particular, however I’m more likely than not going to stop here. This author has a very big problem with flooding sections with stats and skill descriptions that it nearly takes up whole chapters. I absolutely loved the first book, and was loving the second book until the story turned completely woke liberal pronouns like they/them, this book is a fantasy book and politics has no place in it. He completely ruined the book for me
