I enjoyed this book and i will listen to it again. Its funny how the author played out the characters in this book. Its not scary but its entertaining and you just can’t stop what is going to happen next. Zed and murphy are good combo!

I found it intriguing and plausible with much information that I had not heard before. I liked the logical presentation of occurrences, relationships and occurrences, however, found it too repetitive at times. Otherwise a good read!Pat
I’ve been craving an extension of Slow Burn and this is PERFECT. If you are a fan of post-apocalypse stories I HIGHLY suggest starting with the first series! Also, the voice actor fits this environment perfectly; creating distinct and individual voices for each character. A+
good series kind of generic zombie survival with some fun flair. the early book build a world and give a relatable main character but by the end his whining and self doubt/loathing have you almost routing for the zombies.

Good book, it’s a bit off putting at first learning how the author jumps from past to present and perspectives. So don’t try to listen to this absently. But the story is definitely worth setting time aside for.

Simply put the story was a unique take on an apocalypse! I would love to listen to more from this author. The great writing combing with Phil Throns narration made this a winning combination.

From outbreak to the dawn of normalcy. A really fantastic listen. Great writing and narration. Second time listening to it. Will do so again in a couple of years, I’m sure.
pacing was pretty smooth, the flashback chapters helped to provide a framework, and the characters were all entertaining but Zach, talk about a lousy person. it’s a bit long, so pay attention to chapter starts because they tell you past or present/ who youre following, but usually that can be inferred a few paragraphs in…
