didn’t know what to expect really. saw this on the new releases and gave it a shot. 34 1/2 hours later and I can’t wait for the next! Was amazing all the way through with no down time! Highly recommend, won’t be disappointed!
The entire story was enthralling, absolutely loved it! But I was taken out of the story every now and again due to the continual explanation of the characters abilities. There was so much story and display of the powers that it seemed redundant and unnecessary. But the overall story is amazing, can’t wait for book..

Early on he’s immediately judgemental dismissive and violent towards his “friend”. Unfortunately zack is also one of our main POV characters so we spend a lot of time listening to him whine and complain and blame. Ryun while being a sociopath is actually far more relatable so… yeah.

if you like a Twist in the story like the bad guy being a good guy or good guy being a bad guy this one is for you it also has a lot of great fights highly recommend hope you enjoy this book as much as I did definitely worth the credit
