Much better written than most, but the one flaw in the writing is that the author vastly overuses the adjective “incredible”, to the point where it would make a good drinking game, as long as you didn’t mind passing out on the floor.

It is personal taste but I hate stories that bounce between different perspectives. If you don’t mind bouncing around and if you like litrp or cultivation stories this will be ok for you but not great.

I have read sooooo many zombie books, this is by far the most unique, immersive, heartfelt series I have ever consumed. I devoured this book set, I just could not stop listening. I could write tons explaining why, but I’ll just say in my opinion, this should be as widely known as The Walking Dead..

Please keep the same voice actor. I think he is perfect for this role. the main character is an example of a needed evil. one that people never try to really see why he did it or the truth of it. but he is still a bad guy.

I have been through a number of LitRPGs/cultivation and generally enjoy the progression and continuity to listen through a so so story. This first book in the series actually has a deep story with a number of pivots and turns that keep the story interesting and refreshing. The progression doesn’t scale itself out of alignment..
