This one was a surprise, the name and plot description didn’t help. Now 12 books later I am a fan. Funny with great characters. Its a classic

Great book, wouldn’t change a thing. Almost took me a week to finish, wish it was longer. Lol

This book was a waste of a credit. The Main character is really annoying and the writer tried so hard to make him quirky and funny but just comes across stupid and annoying. I only finished it because I was on a 40 ft ladder all day working and couldn’t switch to something else!

I had listened to a previous Bobby Adair book and loved it. Unfortunately the narrator on this was so stilted it was unbearable to listen to. I think I’m going to get the books in print and try that way.

eh, it’s not as memorable as I’d hope it was going to be. If you’ve seen a zombie film, then you know it all.

Kinda dragged on in the latter half, the MCs were very slow to get their sh*t together. But it had laughs and epic moments and made for fine entertainment.

I bought based on an ad claiming that this was going to be a funny book. I’m a little in and the slow pace isn’t worth the few humorous bits so far. Good to go to sleep to.

Everything and I do mean everything is over explained in excruciating detail. Every thought, every action, every look, everything. Not the best book but worth a read.. Phil Thron is definitely one of the best narrator’s. Slow burn is probably the best books he’s narrated, that I know of.
