Excellent info, tying so much science, psychology, sociology and animal behavior together. A fascinating , logical and simple read. I’ve already listened twice and am recommending it widely.

This book taught me self reflection and doing things mindfully. I think the authors for this piece of literature.

The book should pace itself more gradually and provide explanations that are easier to understand, especially for those who are not monks. Some of the terms used are challenging for the average person who may not be familiar with Buddhist concepts, so it needs to be more accessible and relatable to the general public. over..

I’ve always enjoyed tales of “the great game,” but the story of Robert Ames well captures the ambiguity or morality in intelligence gathering and the possibility of weaving practical morality into the practice without lionizing heroes.

I didn’t like the age difference, but I like that they took their time. A cute love story.
