Such an interesting book. The authors take a look at often conflicting ‘rules’ about ownership (e.g. first come first served, possession, product of labor, etc) and discuss how these ideas have shaped our world. I flew through this book.

Food for the mind, body, and soul. You’re probably going to want to take notes…actually you should.

This book was actually very eye-opening, especially the part about South Dakota! So eye-opening in fact I’m wondering why the authors are not sending their findings about South Dakota to people like Senator Bernie Sanders!The book reading was well paced. The reader was easy to listen to, dramatic and funny at times.

There is no other book you need for self-care, care for others, love and peace for self and all ♥️

Highly recommend all books by Thich Naht Hahn. I will listen to this many times over. This book can bring you peace and could bring peace to the world.

Loved learning the history and also feeling like part of the community as so many stories rung true with my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed explanation of many of the Buddha’s fundamental teachings that lead to enlightenment. I feel that I now have sufficient understanding to intentially walk the path toward liberation of suffering.

Thich Nhat Hahn has such a clear way of translating the Buddhist teachings in such a clear and understandable way but still so full of all the wisdom and deep intellectual teachings of the Buddha. This is by far the best inclusive book of the Buddhist teachings I have ever read. I have been practicing..
